Unity Church of Raleigh is a warm, inclusive spiritual community. Whether you're deeply spiritual, spiritually curious, or just looking for community — you are welcome here exactly as you are.
We don't ask you to check your questions at the door. We don't require you to believe a specific creed. We simply invite you to come, experience our Sunday service, and see how it feels.
What to Expect
Here's a simple walkthrough of a typical Sunday at UCR.
Arrive & Park
We're located at 5124 Departure Drive, Suite 108, Raleigh, NC 27616. Free parking is available in the lot. Arrive a few minutes early to find your seat and meet our greeters.
Optional: Guided Meditation (10:00–10:15 AM)
Join us in the Prayer Chapel for a quiet, centering guided meditation. This is a beautiful way to ease into Sunday morning. Open to everyone, no experience required.
Celebration Service Begins (10:30 AM)
The main service starts at 10:30 AM. Expect live music from our Uh-Huh Band, a warm welcome, community prayer, and an uplifting spiritual message.
Music & Worship
Music is central to our worship. Our talented Uh-Huh Band leads us in songs that are joyful, meditative, and soul-stirring. No hymnals required — lyrics are projected.
Spiritual Message
Rev. Ellen Barron delivers a thoughtful, practical message rooted in Unity teachings and spiritual principle — relevant to everyday life, open to all perspectives.
Community Prayer & Offering
We hold time for community prayer requests and a free-will offering. No pressure — giving is entirely optional, especially on your first visit.
Stay for Fellowship
After service, everyone is invited to stay for coffee, conversation, and connection. This is a wonderful time to meet members of the community and ask questions.

Unity is an inclusive, positive, practical spiritual community rooted in the teachings of Jesus and the universal spiritual principles found in all great traditions. We draw from Christian scripture and also honor the wisdom found in other spiritual paths. You don't need to be Christian to attend — or to belong. We welcome seekers of all backgrounds.
Absolutely not. You are welcome to attend as many Sundays as you like with no expectation of membership. If and when you feel ready to explore membership, we can share more about what that means. Come as often (or as rarely) as feels right to you.
Come as you are. You'll see everything from casual jeans and a t-shirt to Sunday best. There is no dress code at Unity Church of Raleigh. What matters most is that you feel comfortable.
Children are warmly welcome at Unity Church of Raleigh. Families typically worship together in the main service. Please contact our office if you have questions about children's programming or childcare availability.
Not at all. Our services are designed to be accessible and welcoming to anyone — whether you have a deep spiritual background or this is your very first time in a church. There's nothing to memorize or perform. Just come, be present, and let the experience unfold naturally.
Yes! We livestream every Sunday service on our YouTube and Facebook channels. Many visitors watch online a few times before visiting in person — that's completely fine with us. When you're ready, we'd love to see you. Head to our Watch page to tune in.
